Strengthening competition in Ukraine’s broadband market

Sector:
Status: Active

Swedfund is financing a study to assess pricing, cross-subsidisation and competition in Ukraine’s broadband market. The study will provide a basis for decisions on possible measures and regulatory changes in line with EU rules and principles.

Ukraine’s broadband market includes both large operators and more than 3,000 smaller internet service providers. Smaller providers play an important role in maintaining broadband access in smaller towns, rural areas and locations affected by the war.
