Swedfund is financing technical assistance to develop a five-year strategy covering 2027–2032. The work includes spectrum use and allocation, regulation of satellite services, and recommendations for secure and trusted telecommunications networks.

The Dominican Republic needs a new national strategy for the use and administration of radio spectrum as its current strategy reaches the end of its term. The country also needs clearer regulation of satellite services and more secure telecommunications networks.
