Strengthening digital resilience through new data centres in Moldova

Sector:
Status: Active

Swedfund is financing a feasibility study to support Moldova in developing a national strategy for four data centres. The study also includes a full assessment of a prioritised public data centre in Chișinău, covering location, technical design, security, sustainability, costs, financing and implementation.

Moldova’s existing data centres are approaching maximum capacity and parts of the infrastructure are nearing the end of their technical life. At the same time, the need for secure, energy-efficient and resilient digital infrastructure is increasing.
