Introduction
There is currently no existing central wastewater treatment system in Juba, South Sudan. A wastewater treatment plant is required to handle waste and avoid contamination in the city.
The project includes the preparation of a feasibility study, preliminary design and an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for sewerage and waste treatment in Juba.
The overall objective is to minimise the spread of untreated waste and wastewater into the environment.
