Value creation

Our Impact

The investment provides companies with access to capital in a region where it is limited, enabling increased access to healthcare locally. The investment contributes to women's economic empowerment by promoting female leadership and investing in companies that promote gender equality. Furthermore, the investment is expected to contribute to jobs and other income-generating opportunities locally.

ESG

We are working closely with the fund manager to, among other things, develop their environmental and social management system to address issues such as labour conditions.

Additionality

Our investment is financially additional as it is made in a challenging context where access to capital is limited, poverty rates are high, and the business climate is challenging. The investment is value additional through a strong focus on active value creation during the investment phase, prioritising sustainability, environmental and social issues and corporate governance.
