Infrastructure projects in the Zambezi water basin
Introduction
The Zambezi water basin in Southern Africa is facing a number of challenges due to population growth and climate change. Support to the regional Zambezi Watercourse Commission (ZAMCOM) is needed to help mitigate these challenges.
A selected number of high priority projects will be developed to improve their feasibility and to secure financing.
The overall objective is to advance high priority infrastructure projects in the Zambezi Watercourse, which will further economic and social development, as well as help decarbonise the energy system.
