Developing Tanzania’s national railway
Introduction
The development of Tanzania’s national railway is a priority for the government, with several initiatives ongoing.
The project provides support related to the operationalisation of the Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS) to enable and facilitate a sustainable rehabilitation and modernisation of the country’s railway.
The objective is to enable rehabilitation and modernisation of the railway to allow for more efficient transportation and logistics throughout the country
