Assessment of wind resources in Ukraine
Introduction
Ukraine's short-term strategy for the energy sector includes replacing generation capacity which has been damaged during the war. The long-term vision of the strategy, includes the implementation of a green transition to an energy system with a higher degree of renewable energy production.
Wind power is identified as one of several renewable energy sources of priority for Ukraine.
Swedfund has received a request for support to evaluate the wind resources for three wind power projects.
