Lagos is a growing megacity needing efficient and sustainable urban transportation solutions. A key question for the existing and expanding bus system is how to manage a green transition.

A study assessing various alternative fuels, including biofuels, will inform decision-makers and develop a sustainable long-term plan for low-emission transportation in Lagos.

The overall objective is to contribute to the long-term decarbonisation of the city’s public transport system.
