Supporting Vietnam’s energy system and renewable energy production
Introduction
Vietnam is looking to improve the stability and resilience of the country’s energy system, which requires studies on possible ways forward.
The feasibility study includes a focus on the country’s main transmission lines. It will look at ways to improve grid efficiency to help renewable solar and wind energy to be evacuated safely, thereby increasing the share of renewable energy.
The objective is to contribute to a stable transmission network in Vietnam that creates conditions for further implementation of solar and wind energy and reduced energy loss during long-distance transmission.
