Improving access to health care in Moldova
Introduction
Moldova intends to further improve access to hospital care for its population. The country’s existing system is extensive but financially strained, which is compounded by an ageing population.
The study will investigate the plan to construct a new specialist hospital to ensure alignment with international standards required for financing from, for example, a development bank.
The objective is to ensure equal and adequate access to high quality specialist health care.
