Biomass heat production plant in Chernivtsi, Ukraine
Introduction
One of Ukraine’s priorities is to rebuild and modernise basic infrastructure in the energy sector.
Swedfund has been requested to conduct a study on how to increase the use of non-fossil fuels, improve energy efficiency and increase the production capacity of the district heating system in Chernivtsi. Reduced green house gas emissions is expected to have a positive impact on the inhabitants and the environment.
