
European Financing Partners, EFP
Introduction
European Financing Partners (EFP), together with the Interact Climate Change Facility (ICCF), is a joint financing platform created by European Development Finance Institutions to contribute to job creation and climate change mitigation through investments in developing countries. Investments are made in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific.
Swedfund's investment within the framework of the EFP co-operation contributes to the implementation of impactful projects in developing countries, with the aim of developing a sustainable private sector, creating jobs and income-generating opportunities locally and increasing access to energy.
Co-investors include BIO, COFIDES, DEG, Finnfund, FMO, IFU, OeEB and PROPARCO.
