Swedfund provides two complaints mechanisms; our grievance mechanism and our whistleblowing service.
Within the whistleblowing service, suspicions regarding serious irregularities, related to Swedfund or Swedfund’s portfolio companies, or related to persons in key or executive positions within Swedfund or Swedfund’s portfolio companies, may be reported. The service allows the whistleblower to file a report completely anonymously.
The grievance mechanism may be used to lodge any concerns and grievances in respect of Swedfund and Swedfund’s portfolio companies, but not in respect of individuals due to applicable data protection legislation. Also anonymous reports will be considered.

Our whistleblowing service is an encrypted web solution which leads to a closed system provided by a third party. It is not intended to replace internal information and reporting channels but is intended only to complement those channels.

Swedfund’s Grievance Mechanism – how to lodge a grievance
Individuals and communities that are subject to risks or impacts from Swedfund or our portfolio companies, or their representatives, can lodge a grievance, by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org.

When lodging a grievance, the claimant should avoid sharing information involving personal data of anyone else but the claimant. If this requirement is not met, Swedfund may deem the grievance inadmissible as Swedfund may not be allowed to process personal data in relation to the grievance, due to applicable data protection legislation.
