The Project Accelerator (PA) is a facility within Swedfund that supports development of sustainable projects in developing countries and is funded by the Swedish government. The PA partners with governments and other public entities to accelerate sustainable project development and to enable investments. The advisory support to public entities in OECD/DAC countries is an untied grant.  The grant funding is used to engage international consultants and experts for project preparatory activities, e.g. feasibility, ESIA and financial structuring studies. Key sectors include Clean energy, Green infrastructure, Urban Transport and Health.

In each project, PA engages an expert advisor that supports PA in the interactions with the project owner, as well as the procurement and delivery of consultant studies.

Swedfund PA is growing its activity within digital transformation and therefore looks to increase our pool of expert advisors in the ICT sector.
