Swedfund can offer financing to Swedish private sector companies who:
- Wish to expand their businesses abroad in countries in Eastern Europe (not EU countries), Asia, Africa and Latin America whose per capita GDP is less than USD 5,000
- Wish to make a profitable long-term investments that can help to accelerate economic growth
- Are looking for a partner to share the commercial risk
- Have enough capital to be able themselves to invest a minimum amount of around MSEK 10
- Have the management personnel required to successfully carry out the investment project in the country concerned.
Is your company’s business well enough established in Sweden and does it have the potential to succeed in any of the regions mentioned above for it to invest at last half the amount?
If so, get in touch with one of Swedfund’s Investment Managers and explain you business idea to them.

What does Swedfund not do?
- We do not invest in the Swedish businesses of Swedish companies (only in partnership with companies that wish to invest in “our” countries).
- We do not invest together with private individuals, partnerships, sole trader, or co-operative or similar associations.
- We do not provide aid in the form of donations.
- We are not involved in sponsoring.
