Swedfund invests EUR 15 million to scale nature-based climate projects in Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia
Swedfund has invested EUR 15 million in hummingbirds-Gondwana (Gondwana), a new platform that finances nature-based solutions. The investment will support restoration and protection of forests and coastal ecosystems, as well as sustainable land use and clean cooking solutions, while creating jobs and income opportunities in rural communities.

Swedfund invests to strengthen resilient and sustainable food systems across Africa
Swedfund is investing USD 15 million in Phatisa Food Fund 3, which focuses on established companies across the food value chain in multiple African markets. The investment aims to improve food security, support decent job creation, and contribute to more resilient and sustainable food systems.

Swedfund strengthens Ukraine’s economy through new investments
Swedfund is investing more than EUR 50 million in Ukraine through four investment platforms to strengthen the country’s economic resilience. The investments target infrastructure, digitalisation, innovation, and companies operating in sectors of critical societal importance.

Swedfund invests in MSME growth and climate action in Vietnam
Swedfund invests in Vietnamese EVF General Finance JSC (EVF) through a loan of up to USD 20 million. EVF is a financial services provider for Micro-, Small- and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The loan will support access to capital for these companies, and parts of the proceeds are earmarked for climate action and women owned enterprises.
