Swedfund invests to strengthen climate resilience in African food systems
Swedfund invests USD 12 million in Acumen Resilient Agriculture Fund II (ARAF II). The investment supports growing food and agriculture companies across Africa that strengthen agricultural value chains. By improving access to markets, finance and essential services, these companies help smallholder farmers become more resilient to climate and economic shocks.

How our investments and projects contribute to Agenda 2030
We make investments in the private sector and fund project preparation through the Project Accelerator, which targets the public sector in developing countries.

Impact
Impact on Society, one of Swedfund’s three pillars, contributes to evaluating that our portfolio delivers development effects in line with our Theory of Change.
