Swedfund publishes interim report for the second quarter of 2026

During the second quarter of 2026, Swedfund continued to invest in solutions that strengthen livelihoods, build resilience to climate change and improve access to critical infrastructure. Swedfund has now published its Interim Report for the second quarter of 2026.

Swedfund invests to strengthen climate resilience in African food systems

Swedfund invests USD 12 million in Acumen Resilient Agriculture Fund II (ARAF II). The investment supports growing food and agriculture companies across Africa that strengthen agricultural value chains. By improving access to markets, finance and essential services, these companies help smallholder farmers become more resilient to climate and economic shocks.

Swedfund increases investment to preserve and create jobs in African SMEs

Swedfund is investing an additional USD 5 million in TLG Africa Growth Impact Fund II (TLG II). The investment will further support the preservation and creation of decent jobs in small and medium sized companies that otherwise struggle to access financing.

Swedfund invests USD 15 million to support local job creation through MSMEs in Sri Lanka

Swedfund invests USD 15 million in Citizens Development Business Finance (CDB) to expand access to financing for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Sri Lanka. The investment is expected to contribute to job creation and women’s economic empowerment.
